Review: Imperial Leather Foamburst Body Wash

Hi Guys,

Last week I received a lovely sample from the guys over at Imperial Leather to try out their new range of Foamburst Body Wash*. Now, I'm no stranger to these body washes as they are my one of my friends favourite products (shout out to Becky if you're reading this) but I myself have never tried them!

I received the sweet vanilla and cherry blossom scent which I absolutely adore! To me, it smells like marzipan and I could happily shower with it all day, every day.
The body wash which I'm sure you know about, come out as a gel but once applied turn into a foam, which is perfect for a shaving cream as well!
On the bottle it says there are 40 pumps per can which I can see why as one pump covered my whole body.
The bottles retail at £2.99 but I saw on my food shop this week that Tesco have them on offer for £2 at the moment-bargain!

Imperial Leather are currently running a Foamburst Genie Campaign where they are giving away daily prizes as well as 7 big prizes themed around the genies. Go to www.foamburstgenies.com to enter.

Can I also add, that each scent has it's own genie and I'd like to give a special mention to Brennus who is the genie for the Blackberry and Wild Fig scent, and who is also unbelievably good looking. I know which scent I'm going for next...
Each Genie also has their own video. Sebastian is the genie for the Sweet vanilla and Cherry Blossom scent and this is his video:

I think I've now found my new favourite range of shower gels and I can't believe it's taken me this long to try them!

Have you tried any of these before?

Boots Haul

Hi Guys,

I've been out of action on the blogging front for a couple of reasons because life has just been hectic. I've barely stopped to sleep never mind to blog, but I've sorted my routine so now I'm back to the good old blog!

This haul is very collective. I think it may have even started in September. I'm so impressed with myself that I've gone this long without buying too many beauty items but to be honest it's because I've had so much stuff to pay out for like birthday nights out and presents etc that my free cash has been limited.

As I've finally come off my acne medication (you can see the final post here) my lips are becoming less dry. Whilst on the medication, there was no point wearing lip colour as I was constantly applying lip balm but now I can wear it again, I treated myself to two new colours.

The first one from NYC is the Applelicious Glossly Lip Balm in Appleicious Pink and is very similar to Revlon lip butters, so it just applies a sheer coat of glossy colour whilst also moisturising.

The next one is a Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in 107 which is a vampy berry colour.

I bought the Collection Eyeshadow pencil in Vanilla Sky to use as an inner corner highlight as it's the perfect colour and easier to apply as it's in pencil form.

I also bought a Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine polish in Watermelon, which is a beautiful deep green.

From Soap and Glory I bought a new Heel Genius which is hands down my favourite foot cream ever! My normal body scrub is the Soap and Glory Flake away but I thought I'd be adventurous and try out a different scrub so I bought the Pulp Friction body scrub which smells delicious!

I hope you enjoyed this haul, I'm so happy to be blogging again!
Have you picked up anything nice recently?

Roaccutane Diary: October 2013

Hi Guys,

This is my final Roaccutane Diary!

Week 36
I've been on 20mg for a week now, and everything is still the same. I can slowly feel me applying lip balm less and less which I'm very happy about. I still haven't had a spot in a long time, so I'm so impressed with the medication as I'm coming up to my final few weeks.

Week 37
I'm sensing a pattern that these next few weeks are all going be the same as last week. My lips are slowly getting more moisturised and I've still had no spots.

Week 38
I had the best feeling ever this week when I went 4 hours without applying lip balm! I once again had a spot free week (loving this!!)

Week 39
That's it - I've finished my course of Roaccutane!

I know Roaccutane is a very controversial drug and it may not work for everyone, but for me it has 100% been worth it. I would have happily applied lipbalm 1 000 000 times a day if it meant I would be happy to leave the house without make up on, which I know completely am. I used to be so self concious of my skin/spots when I went out and it really bothered me as I'm not a shy person, but now my skin isn't even a second thought! When I people who don't know me that well find out I'm on acne medication, their response is 'What? You've got acne?' and it's the best feeling to know it now looks like I have never suffered with my skin for the past 6 years.
My journey on roaccutane has given me the most amazing results I could ask for:

I hope you have enjoyed this series and it has given some of you the courage to seek help if you suffer with bad acne.
